Experienced Receptionist with Administrative Skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Opening and closing the Practice premises, ensuring security according to Practice protocols.
2. Maintaining and monitoring the appointment system.
3. Assisting patients with appointment booking procedures.
4. Handling personal and telephone requests for appointments, visits, and consultations, directing callers to the appropriate healthcare professional.
5. Processing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
6. Taking messages and passing on information accurately.
7. Filing and retrieving paperwork efficiently.
8. Communicating with patients, team members, and healthcare agencies, responding to requests.
9. Restocking consulting rooms as needed.
10. Maintaining tidiness in the reception area, notice boards, and leaflet dispensers.
11. Recording and processing information in compliance with Practice procedures and Data Protection regulations.
12. Providing clerical support such as word processing, data entry, filing, and photocopying.
