Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Chapeltown
Pay Rate: £93 – £115 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education is looking for a confident and committed Cover Supervisor to work within a friendly and inclusive school in Chapeltown. In this role, you will step into lessons during teacher absences, maintaining a positive atmosphere for learning and ensuring students stay on track across different subjects and year groups.
Responsibilities of a CS:
* Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
* Ensuring students remain engaged, focused, and on task during lessons.
* Implementing the planned learning activities and maintaining classroom routines.
* Supporting students with additional needs when required.
* Maintaining a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
To be successful as a Cover Supervisor, you should:
* Have experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
* Be confident, organised, and able to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
* Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
