You will be prepared to travel to other rail depots throughout the country.**Main Responsibilities:*** Must have a good understanding and knowledge of the rail vehicle industry and best practice therein.* 5+ years of complex HSEQ experience, process and functional development, ideally gained within a rail environment* Excellent knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation and best practice* Managing audits undertaken by internal and external bodies* Experience of formulating, implementing and revising H&S policies and procedures* Experience of RIDDOR reporting* People management experience* Strong IT skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)Knowledge:* NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent* Knowledge and experience of OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and EFQM (or equivalent quality standard)* A full and valid driving licence is essentialSkills and competencies:* Confidential in all matters with a professional approach* Proactive and engaging, can demonstrate impact and influence* Confident, good interpersonal skills with strong verbal communication* Excellent report writing and presentation skills* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailDue to the energising nature of our vacancies, application close dates, when stated, are indicative and may be subject to change so please apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
