Job Title: Project Manager – Residential Housing Development (200 Units)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a large-scale residential housing development comprising 200 units. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
As this develepment is comprised of various forms of Construction including Timber frame and a 5 storey steel frame, you must be conversant in these and technically astute.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Planning & Coordination
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and local planning requirements.
• Financial Management
• Monitor project costs and control expenditures to stay within budget.
• Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for stakeholders.
• Team Leadership
• Lead and motivate on-site teams and external partners.
• Conduct regular progress meetings and resolve issues promptly.
• Quality & Safety
• Implement quality assurance processes to meet design and construction standards.
• Enforce health and safety protocols across the site.
• Stakeholder Communication
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, investors, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and milestones.
Requirements
• Proven experience managing large-scale residential developments (100+ units preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and project management methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
