Job Introduction
We have a fantastic opportunity within our SET CAMHS Team (part of Targeted and System support services Essex) for an Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and motivated to make a real difference in our community.

The role offers a great work-life balance, overseeing the management of your own diary. Full-time and part-time hours are available within the hours of 8am to 8pm, with flexibility from Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday work.
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours across the week.
Main Responsibilities
1. Hold a caseload of clients, delivering goal-based interventions to support their wellbeing.
2. Prevent more serious mental health problems in children and young people through early identification.
3. Plan, deliver, and review individual and group therapeutic interventions.
4. Routinely measure clinical outcomes and deliver evidence-based interventions.
5. Provide accessible, less stigmatizing services based on research evidence within clinical governance.
6. Oversee the development of Wellbeing Coaches and other practitioners within the service.
The Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of a second-class Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g., medicine, psychology, social work) or qualified Wellbeing Practitioner (e.g., PWP, CWP, EMHP).
* Further professional knowledge through accredited CPD courses or in-house training.
* At least 2 years of experience in mental health practice.
* Assessment, planning, formulation, and evaluation skills.
* Experience with Routine Outcome Measures and evidence-based therapies.
* Clinical experience in adapting interventions for CYP.
* Experience managing clinical risk.
* Understanding of child development and psychosocial influences.
* Experience delivering low-intensity/psycho-educational interventions.
* Commitment to professional development.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Ability to work independently and within an integrated team.
* Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Email, Excel, and SystmOne.
* Motivational skills to encourage change and develop practice.
* Experience building relationships across health, social care, and voluntary sectors.
Access to a car and a full driving license is essential for this role.
