The role
We at Luxe Talent are seeking an exceptional and commercially astute Fashion Designer with a proven track record of creating trend-driven womenswear collections for leading European fashion retailers.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative visionary who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has an instinct for emerging trends, and understands how to translate catwalk inspiration into commercially successful, customer-focused products.
Responsibilities:
- Research and interpret seasonal fashion trends, consumer behaviour, and market developments.
- Develop commercially relevant womenswear collections across multiple product categories.
- Create mood boards, design concepts, CADs, and detailed product briefs.
- Work closely with product developers, pattern makers, and suppliers throughout the development process.
- Present design proposals confidently to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the collection from concept through to final sample approval.
- Conduct regular market and competitor research to identify emerging opportunities.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in womenswear fashion design.
- Fluent Spanish speaker (essential).
- Able to work in fast-paced development cycles, trend translation and commercial product creation.
- Experience designing for European fashion retailers
- Strong understanding of trend-led, commercial fashion and the European retail market.
- Excellent Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Availability and willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, shopping research, supplier visits, and collection development.
