Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant – Bramhall
Pay: £419.25 - £500 per week
Contract: Full-time | Immediate Start | Until end of academic year (potential to become permanent)

Are you a recent Mathematics graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education? Do you want to inspire young people to achieve their best in maths and support their academic growth?
Teaching Personnel is currently working with a successful and supportive secondary school in the Bramhall area, graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, to appoint a full-time Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant. This role starts immediately and continues until July 2025, with the opportunity to be offered a permanent position based on performance.
This is an ideal role for a graduate considering a future in teaching, offering the chance to work closely with students, develop your teaching skills, and contribute meaningfully to the Maths department.
Key Responsibilities:
Support teachers in delivering engaging maths lessons
Work with students on a one-to-one and small group basis to improve understanding and performance
Help with the planning and delivery of interventions for students who may need additional support in maths
Provide in-class support to help with behaviour management and student engagement
Assist with preparing resources and tracking pupil progress
Key Information:
Location: Bramhall
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Weekly pay: £419.25 - £500 via Teaching Personnel
Duration: Until the end of the academic year (with the possibility of extension)
Ideal Candidate:
A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
Strong numeracy and communication skills
Passion for helping young people learn and succeed
A patient, positive and proactive attitude
Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
