Temporary School Receptionist
Based: Twickenham
Full time: 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
Hourly Rate: £15ph
Start: Monday 2nd June until Friday 4th July (total 5 weeks).
Handover 22nd/23rd May (2 days) - before half term break
Preferably with school experience and with a DBS
1. 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, including a 30 minute unpaid break
2. Term time only
3. Parking on site
To organise a welcoming, effective and professional reception for the school.
4. To be a receptionist as the front-line for the school through welcoming visitors and the effective operation of the telephone switchboard system
5. To greet all visitors to the school, make them feel welcome and distribute ID passes
6. To deal with all callers and visitors in a polite and courteous manner
7. Maintain staff signing in/out system and monitor electronic gates
8. Action incoming electronic mail requests and the Reception email box
9. To create and send out letters and parent messages
10. To receive, sort & distribute the incoming post and collate, frank & distribute outgoing post
11. To support the supervision of the student ambassadors on a daily basis
12. To be the point of radio contact for Senior staff in school
