About the Role
Teaching Personnel are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Manager to work with one of our partner SEN schools in the Cromer area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key leadership role within a specialist educational setting that supports children and young people with a range of additional learning needs.
You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant operation of all non-teaching aspects of the school, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to maintain financial stability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead on all aspects of financial management, including budget setting, monitoring, reporting, payroll, and statutory compliance.
Oversee human resources, including recruitment, staff onboarding, and wellbeing.
Manage premises operations and take the lead on Health & Safety compliance and site management.
Act as the school’s lead for Data Protection (GDPR) and ensure all related procedures are followed.
Provide strategic and operational support to the Senior Leadership Team to drive efficiency and school improvement.
Liaise with auditors, external contractors, and local authorities as required.
Requirements
Recognised qualification in accounting, finance, or school business management (CSBM/DSBM or equivalent).
Proven experience managing budgets and resources, ideally within a school or educational environment.
Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused approach.
