Based in the heart of Northampton - just on the outskirts of the town centre in St James Mill Road, we are recruiting in partnership with a multi-national building products company who offer a clear plan for development and pay increases.
It's a physical role, so you will need to be comfortable on your feet for 12 hrs.
Job Title:Production - Packer
Pay Details
£156.00per standard shift (£13.00 p/hr - breaks paid)
£234.00per overtime shift (£19.50 p/hr - breaks paid)
You will be required to rotate from day shift to night shift.
The Details
* £13.00 p/hr - starting pay rate per hour, £19.50 p/hr OT rate
* Production environment (fast-paced, noisy, and a manual job)
* Rotating shift days/nights
* Temp - Perm role (12 weeks which depends on suitability)
* Shift: 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern, start times; 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am (12 hour shifts)
* Location:St James, Northampton
No experience necessary, but ideally you will have experience working within a fast-paced, manual role.

This role will be working on the packing section of a busy and fast-moving production line. If successful you will be quality checking the product and wrapping the product ready for despatch.
Quality checking
Perform in-process visual, measurements, physical count, and manual inspections of finished product to detect defects, and record results appropriately
Packing/Wrapping and placing finished product onto the stillage ready for despatch
Perform any other job-related tasks
Follow and adhere to safe working practices and Site Health & Safety.
