Job Description
We’re currently recruiting for Full time and Part time Bookmakers Clerks in the Maghera Area. This is an entry level position and we are keen for all staff to progress quickly. Training will be provided to ensure confidence in all aspects of independently running a successful betting shop.
Responsibilities
* Processing bets and assisting with customer queries
* Working as part of a team to assist the day to day running of the shop
* Building relationships with customers and delivering excellent customer service
* Maintaining high shop standards
Hours
Shop hours are Monday-Sunday, 9am-9pm. Contracted hours will be allocated on a weekly rota basis.
About The Company
Toals is a family-run business, established in 1932 in Ballymena. There are 50+ shops across Northern Ireland. The company offers telephone betting service, available 7 days a week, and supports local community engagement including sponsorship of the Co. Antrim FA.
Required Criteria
* GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent)
* Previous cash handling experience OR experience providing excellent customer care
* Full UK clean driving license
* Willingness to learn and develop in the role
Desirable Criteria
* Demonstrable IT skills
* 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent)
