We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen, UK or Leer, Germany. For UK‑based candidates, LTD Company contractors will be considered.
What will you be doing?
* Produce technical documents, including designs, calculations, reports, and specifications of MV/HV cables and accessories.
* Produce engineering documents for test and termination of Medium/High Voltage, and Fibre Optic cables.
* Ensure all safety and legal requirements are met.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and third parties.
* Support the Principal Engineer and Project Engineering Manager in delivering positive project outcomes.
* Provide technical support to local tendering teams.
* Participate in risk assessments and ensure designs meet industry standards.
* Be prepared to travel for occasional site visits.
What experience would we like you to have?
* Experience with Medium/High Voltage cables (relating to Cable Design, HV testing and terminations)
* Good teamwork and communication skills.
* Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, and handle changes efficiently.
* Focus on continued learning and Professional Development.
