Main duties of the job
You will be involved in the full range of general practice nursing,including:
* Managementof long-term conditions (especially asthma and COPD)
* Cervicalcytology
* Childhoodand adult immunisations and vaccinations
* Woundcare and dressings
* Healthpromotion and lifestyle advice
* Infectionprevention and control
* Workingclosely with GPs, HCAs, and the wider multidisciplinary team

Job responsibilities
The post-holder will provide high-quality nursing care and assist in thedelivery of general medical services under the supervision of the Nurse Managerand clinical leadership from the GP partners.
You will work to agreed protocols and clinical guidelines, ensuring safeand effective patient care. Responsibilities will include both clinical andadministrative duties as appropriate to the post.

Qualifications
* NMC registered Nurse
* Respiratory care skills
* Family planning qualifications
Experience
* Minimum 2 years post-registration experience
* At least 1 year recent experience in primary care or community nursing
* Competence in cervical cytology, immunisation, chronic disease management, and wound care
* Good IT skills and written/verbal communication
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Committed to providing high standards of patient care
* Sound clinical judgment and awareness of own limitations
* Respiratory care skills
* Family planning qualifications
* Teaching or mentorship experience
* Familiarity with clinical governance and quality initiatives
