Team Leader Roles & Responsibilities
The following is a job description for the Currently vacant Team leader role
PPS (Pick, Pack & Ship)
* Conduct shift briefings, allocate tasks, and monitor progress throughout the shift.
* Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse operatives to achieve daily operational targets.
* Organise and process customer orders, including to customer specific requirements and ensure timely despatch of stock
* Assist with picking, packing, goods in and goods out processing as & when required
Communication
* Complete shift handovers
* Provide regular updates and reports to management
* Internal discussions with fellow TLs as and when necessary
Safety
1. Ensure the team are working safely to ultimately achieve customer requirements
2. Ensure equipment is used safely and maintained appropriately
3. Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring you comply with statutory law, company policy & health & safety guidelines
4. Check that MHE check sheets are being completed daily
