What you will do
The role of Production Systems Service Sales Manager offers an exciting opportunity within Johnson Controls to develop our focus on service growth within wellhead systems and hydraulic process control equipment. Reporting to the Service Sales Manager UK, within the Global Marine & Offshore Service business, you will aim to expand our equipment servicing and product supply base in the UK and overseas.
You will work closely with our UK operations team and be instrumental in executing our sales growth initiatives.

How you will do it
You will execute your Go-To-Market strategy in existing markets, using enterprise tools and value selling concepts to achieve targeted growth. You will adapt your sales strategy based on key findings and ensure effective adoption of company systems, tools, pricing policies, and sales processes.
Using market intelligence and industry networking tools, you will blend field activities with client conversations to identify opportunities.
Salesforce.com will be your CRM tool, supported by marketing for external communications and customer campaigns.
To be successful in this role you will
* Develop business strategies to improve sales opportunities in target markets
* Identify and target existing accounts for growth and convert new opportunities
* Monitor competitor activities and industry developments
* Lead the full sales process from opportunity to closure, coordinating with stakeholders
* Develop a sales pipeline to meet installation order requirements
* Manage leads and sales performance via Salesforce
* Contribute to Oil & Gas growth initiatives for opportunity creation and cross-selling
* Seek continuous improvement opportunities
* Manage bids effectively
What we look for
Required
* Knowledge of UK Oil/Gas/Renewables markets
* Technical understanding of Production Systems and Hydraulic Equipment (training available)
* Experience working with Oil & Gas customers, operators, EPCs
* Proven success in developing new business in sales or business development roles
* Experience in service or contract-based sales
* Strong client relationship and forecasting skills
* Field sales experience and relationship selling expertise
* IT literacy, especially Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills
* Full UK Driving License
Preferred
* Track record in selling technical solutions in Oil, Gas & Marine markets
* Experience with Salesforce CRM and working within large, matrix organizations
* Ability to present to senior management
* Autonomous yet proactive team player
* Resourcefulness and operational engagement for customer service
* Capability to develop plans and lead teams
* Proven results achievement
