You will start studying towards your Chartered Accountant qualification immediately, and within the first months you will take your first exams with support from the firm.
You will join the External Audit team and conduct a thorough, risk-focused review of client financial records, processes and controls, helping to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and build trust with stakeholders. You will have access to the latest technology to enhance your work.
Responsibilities
* Becoming a key member of our team from day one, with initial involvement in client work as part of a larger team and progressing to individual responsibility for projects.
* Work with a wide variety of clients, from owner-managed businesses to large listed groups, charities, pension schemes and other not-for-profit organisations.
You’ll predominately be office based or at a client site, to build relationships and receive development and support in the early stages of your career.
What We Are Looking For
* A minimum of 112 UCAS points across 3 A Levels or an equivalent level 3 qualification, or 104 UCAS points across 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate (Higher Level) with an honours degree (predicted or obtained).
* Effective verbal and written communication skills for clear collaboration with team members and clients.
* Ability to analyse and interpret data to solve problems.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships and stay calm under pressure.
* A genuine interest in business and commerce with a commercial outlook and strong organizational/time management skills.
* A willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.
Note: RSM does not accept General Studies, AS levels or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
The start date for this role is 22 September 2026. Start dates are mandatory due to training commitments to offer the best start to your career with us.
