The Dental Directorate are in a position to recruit into the follow Deputy Dental Sister/Charge Post
1. Full-time permanent and secondment positions
2. The Deputy Dental Sister has the responsibility of clinically leading the team forward on a day to day basis and will be expected to nurse clinically.
The successful post holder will work alongside the wider MDT team and participate in the teaching of postgraduate and undergraduate students.
Some posts may require the successful candidate to have proven, up to date skills and experience in Sedation.
Successful candidate must be able to do variable shift patterns.

Main duties of the job
You should have the skills to provide appropriate administration support whilst being able to liaise and delegate work efficiently as directed by the Dental Sister and Dental Matron.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Skills required to be able to create rotas, complete HR duties such as sickness absence, PDR’s.
Post holder must be able to prioritise their time and support and manage clinical activities working in a team to ensure patient care and safety.
Work with the dental sister to promote team working, collaborative working across the dental team and deal with patient queries and concerns as part of a team.
Clinical duties for various dental procedures and clinics including AGP.
