Project Manager – Civils / Infrastructure

Location: Yorkshire
We are currently looking for a Project Manager with experience in Highways, Structures, Street works, and General Civils to join the Civils Division of a regional contractor working on projects across Yorkshire, particularly along the M62 corridor.
Role Responsibilities
The Project Manager will ensure all safety, technical, and commercial objectives are met, focusing initially on projects such as public realm, 278 schemes, cycle ways, and road re-alignments.
The responsibilities include:
* Leading internal staff and external specialist subcontractors
* Developing and delivering highway and structures projects
* Managing site staff performance
* Providing health and safety leadership
* Ensuring compliance with HSE legislation
* Supporting estimating and planning processes
* Allocating and communicating resources effectively
* Developing and maintaining project programmes
* Leading risk management processes
* Identifying and capitalizing on project opportunities
* Maintaining client and stakeholder relationships
* Upholding company values and inspiring the team
* Reporting on KPIs, near misses, accidents, and incidents as per procedures
The Ideal Candidate
We seek a candidate with previous Project Management experience in an operational environment, possessing:
* A relevant Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
* Strong commercial acumen
* Confident and articulate communication skills
