Accor has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and career-driven team player to join a proficient team as a Night Manager. We are seeking a motivated, highly engaging, analytical, and passionate Full-Time Night Manager to join our team at Peppers Beacon in Queenstown. Overlooking Lake Wakatipu and close to Queenstown's heart, Peppers Beacon attracts both Kiwi and international guests seeking adventure year-round. Enjoy spectacular views of the Remarkables Mountains and the outdoor adventures Queenstown offers, whether winter or summer!
This is a full-time, permanent position with a minimum guarantee of 30 hours per week.
Hourly pay rate ranges from $27 to $29 NZD.

Main duties and responsibilities include:
* Welcoming guests efficiently and warmly
* Handling guest inquiries and providing helpful information
* Checking guests in and out, settling accounts
* Providing accurate financial and yield reports
* Managing hotel operations during night shifts in the absence of the Hotel Manager
* Contributing to achieving hotel targets
* Auditing front office and F&B operations according to policies
* Overseeing the Night Audit process and managing hotel systems
* Understanding backup and recovery procedures for front office systems
* Reconciling daily banking and processing payments accurately
* Maintaining security and emergency procedures awareness
* Communicating guest requests and feedback to relevant departments
* Ensuring guest privacy and security
* Monitoring all hotel areas
* Handling responsibilities for other departments during night shifts
* Taking and preparing room service orders
* Participating in occupational health and safety discussions
* Invoicing travel agents and following up on overdue accounts
* Reporting issues to supervisors and maintaining shift logs
* Ensuring guest safety through regular checks and noise management
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience as a Night Manager, Duty Manager, or Night Auditor
* Current GM Certificate or ability to obtain one immediately
* Current First Aid certification
* Excellent customer service skills and enthusiasm
* Immaculate grooming and professional appearance
* Creative in guest engagement
* Highly organized and efficient
* Ability to audit accounts and manage hotel operations
* Calm, efficient, and able to work under pressure
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Knowledge of health, safety, and security procedures
* Team-oriented mindset
