Duties of an Aftersales Manager:
* Lead and manage the aftersales department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
* Support the service, parts, and bodyshop teams to deliver excellent customer service.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve customer retention and departmental revenue.
* Oversee workshop and service schedules, optimise processes and resources.
* Monitor departmental KPIs to maintain high standards of service quality.
* Aftersales Managers deal with customer relationships effectively, resolving issues promptly.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and dealership policies.
* Support recruitment, training, and development of team members to foster a high-performance culture.
Requirements of an Aftersales Manager:
* Extensive experience within a franchise main dealer service department, ideally at a supervisory level.
* Proven track record of managing a team and driving performance.
* Strong knowledge of dealership DMS systems.
* Full UK manual driving license with minimal points.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
* Professional attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
