Our client is a reputable Investment Management firm specialising in Personal and Corporate Finance. Due to an internal promotion, they are now looking for a diligent and ambitious individual to join them on their journey. As such, this opportunity will provide you with the chance to gain your levels 3 through to 6 CISI qualifications as you develop and progress with the firm. You will be reporting directly to the Compliance Monitoring Manager and will regularly liaise with the Regulation and AML teams. This opportunity would ideally suit either an existing Compliance Officer ready for their next step, or an administrator working within an FCA regulated industry. P:re-existing knowledge of FCA regulations would provide a significant advantage. The company is located in Leeds City Centre and is only a few minutes walk from the station. This opportunity is offered on a hybrid basis, working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Key Responsibilities: Monitor business risks in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures. Complete tasks in accordance with the Compliance Plan as set out in line with FCA and strategic business objectives. Review and monitor customer complaints where required, complete MI, contribute to Root Cause Analysis, and to submit regulatory reports. Monitor and review specific managed portfolio issues and assessment of suitability. Respond to daily queries via the Compliance inbox. To review financial promotions prior to publication and make recommendations as necessary to meet regulatory guidance, as required. Monitor Training & Competence arrangements throughout Head Office and Branches. Update and maintain a working knowledge of the FCA Conduct of Business rules. To ensure that all reports of regulatory breaches are evaluated and recorded and agree required follow up actions. To maintain and promote a TCF culture in respect of all the six outcomes. Key Skills and Attributes: Adaptable and ambitious mindset. A diligent and collaborative approach. Ideally educated to a degree level or equivalent standard. FSI or equivalent (level 3 or 4) is desirable but not essential as overall experience will be considered. Minimum of 1 years compliance, or 3 years administration experience within financial services or a similar regulated industry. Knowledge of FCA regulations. Good use of MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook). Ability to adapt and use own initiative. Good attention to detail and accuracy.
