Maintenance Heating Engineer
Wycombe Abbey seeks to appoint a Heating Engineer to work as a member of the in-house Maintenance Team. The role involves carrying out routine maintenance and repairs, with particular emphasis on mechanical systems and services such as the Building Energy Management System (BEMS), which are essential for the school's smooth operation and presentation.
Contract and Hours
* Contract: Permanent, full-time, with a six-month probation period.
* Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week on a shift system between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, hours to be agreed with the Deputy Estates Manager. Includes a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
The postholder may need to respond to emergencies or assist with school operations outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and holiday periods. Additional hours will be paid as overtime or accrued as time off in lieu.
