The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate and assist with travel and administration for our brand new team at HRC-UK. We are looking for a real team player, who is able to efficiently work with colleagues to create a smooth and successful operation.
The role is based within the Business Administration Division of HRC-UK, and is responsible for organising and coordinating multiple disciplines including full administration and accurate procedures in order to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency. This is a varied role which requires a flexible and self-motivated individual who enjoys working within a varied environment.
Responsibilities include:
• Full coordination and management of Race/Factory Team uniform Stock control and distribution as and when new uniforms are prepared and collection and disposal when they are outdated or at the end of the season.
• Full travel support, including the coordination and booking of worldwide flights, accommodation, VISA’s and transport.
• Liaising with Head Office in Japan to accommodate arrangements for Visitors & VIP’s to the HRC-UK office.
• Supporting the HRC UK or UK travel of HRC (Japan) and Honda Motor (Japan) associates.
• Assisting with event management such as marketing and press events and/or Associates events at HRC UK when requested.
• Managing ad-hoc office projects as required by the Operations team to improve & enhance the work spaces.
• In addition, as part of the Business Administration Department, coordinating administrative activity in order to meet deadlines and in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Solid administration experience.
• Previous experience of booking international travel is desirable however full training will be given.
• An adept communicator, able to negotiate both internally and externally.
• Excellent IT skills e.g. Email, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Must have a flexible & positive attitude.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Must possess multi-tasking, self-management, prioritisation, organisation & strong planning skills.
