Residential Developer

£45,000 + Car
A major residential developer is expanding their in‑house technical team in Glasgow and they’re looking for an Architect or Architectural Technician who wants to be closer to delivery, decision‑making, and the real‑world impact of their work.

What you’ll be doing
* Developing and refining house types, site layouts, and technical solutions
* Producing and reviewing detailed construction information
* Coordinating with engineers, planners, consultants, and site teams
* Ensuring compliance with building regulations, standards, and NHBC requirements
* Visiting live sites to resolve technical queries and maintain design intent
* Supporting the wider technical and land teams with feasibility and early-stage input
What we’re looking for
* Architect or Architectural Technician with strong technical capability
* Experience in residential design or housebuilding (developer or practice)
* Confident producing and reviewing detailed drawings and specifications
* Solid understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods
* Someone proactive, organised, and comfortable working across multiple live projects
* Revit experience is beneficial but not essential
