This role is responsible for leading and managing the Executive Office to ensure the Principal & CEO and the Executive Leadership Team receive seamless, professional, and strategic support. It demands a proactive and highly organised leader who can oversee complex administrative functions while driving operational excellence across the executive function. Combining high-level administrative leadership with advanced IT capability, the role ensures the effective operation of systems, efficient handling of data, and delivery of high-quality digital communication. The postholder will champion streamlined processes, enable informed decision-making, and help maintain a high-performing and forward-looking Executive Office.
Key Responsibilities
* Line manage and develop the PA team, ensuring high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and responsiveness.
* Coordinate executive diaries, meetings, and events to ensure strategic alignment and effective time management.
* Support the Principal & CEO when attending events and meetings
* Support the Principal & CEO with preparation of reports, presentations, and strategic documents.
* Track and follow up on executive actions, ensuring timely completion and reporting.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and senior leaders.
* Develop and maintain digital systems for document management, workflow tracking, and executive communications.
* Ensure secure handling of sensitive data and compliance with data protection regulations.
* Support governance processes including exec team board and committee coordination with the Governance Professional.
* Lead planning and delivery of Principal & CEO level events and engagements.
* Support the achievement of wider college projects as required.
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree or professional qualification equivalent in Business Administration, Management, or related field
* Project management qualification or experience (Desirable)
Skills & Expertise
* Proven experience in a senior administrative or executive (C‑suite) support role
* Team management skills
* Advanced IT proficiency, including Microsoft 365, digital workflow tools, and data reporting platforms
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Experience in an education environment (Desirable)
