Office Manager Grade 5 £26,403 - £28,598 pro-rata 35 hours per week, term time only Permanent Required from 3rd November 2025 or as soon as possible after that The Governors are looking to appoint a skilled, committed, enthusiastic and efficient Administrator who exhibits excellent inter-personal skills to work in our busy, friendly school office. We seek to appoint someone who: • Has a minimum of 5 GCSE passes (Grade A-C) or equivalent, including English and Maths • NVQ Level 3 in administration or equivalent or relevant equivalent qualification such as CSBM. • Has office experience • Is a team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude • Is pleasant and sociable with excellent inter-personal skills • Has very good ICT skills • Has the ability to work under pressure • Is able to prioritise tasks • Enjoys working with children If you’re enthusiastic about supporting children’s education in a behind the scenes role and thrive in a collaborative setting, we’d love to hear from you. Calculation of term time only plus one weeks’ pay Term time only plus one additional weeks’ pay is calculated on the basis of the following: • Number of ‘teaching’ weeks – 38 weeks; plus • Public (bank) holidays – 1.6 weeks (8 days); plus • One additional week, inclusive of CPD – 1 weeks; plus • Individual leave entitlement - 5.4 weeks (27 days) or 6.4 weeks (32 days) Individual leave entitlement is calculated on the length of continuous service. Employees with less than 5 years’ service will receive 27 days annual leave. Employees with more than 5 years’ service will receive 32 days annual leave. For example: Calculation for employees with less than 5 years’ service: 39 weeks (term time plus 1) 27 days (annual leave) 8 days (public holidays) = 46 weeks’ pay, to be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments Calculation for employees with more than 5 years’ service: 39 weeks (term time plus 1) 32 days (annual leave) 8 days (public holidays) = 47 weeks’ pay, to be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments Byerley Park Primary School Greenfield Way, Newton Aycliffe, Co.
