Responsibilities
As a Senior Merchandiser, you will lead the planning and execution of sourcing, selection, and trading strategies for a diverse product range. Youll translate category strategies into actionable plans, ensuring stock parameters are met across all channels and delivering against key KPIs such as sales, margin, availability, and customer satisfaction. Day-to-day, youll manage supplier relationships, negotiate cost‑effective sourcing routes, and oversee product launches to ensure timely delivery. Youll work closely with Buying, Technical, and Online teams to create balanced, commercial ranges and optimise trading performance. Additionally, youll coach and develop a team of merchandisers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
You bring strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and a customer‑first mindset. Confidence in influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels is key, as is the ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, agile environment. You have proven experience in merchandising, including digital channels, and are comfortable using merchandising and replenishment systems to drive results. Your approach will be proactive and solutions‑focused, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build cross‑functional networks. Experience in managing projects outside of BAU and delivering business change will be highly beneficial.

* Strong knowledge of merchandising and replenishment systems, including digital channels
* Demonstrated ability to analyse data and deliver against KPIs such as sales, margin, and availability
* Experience in leading and developing a team to achieve commercial objectives
