Are you a skilled Welder with a passion for precision and quality craftsmanship? We're on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join a growing team, working on critical rolling stock vehicles that keep the nation moving.
About the Role:
You'll be responsible for executing high-quality welding tasks across a range of rolling stock components and structures. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and integral to our operations, ensuring all work meets rigorous safety and engineering standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminium, and other railway vehicle materials
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Conduct structural repairs and modifications on rolling stock vehicles
Ensure all welds meet industry compliance and inspection criteria
Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to deliver outstanding results
What You’ll Bring:
Proven welding experience, ideally in a rail or heavy engineering setting
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Welding/Fabrication (Desirable)
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Certification or coding in welding is a plus
Essential:
Driving License
