Job Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a General Sales Manager to join the management team at our Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Dealership in Droitwich.
The hours of work are between 8:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and 1 in 3 Saturdays between 9am to 5pm.
Benefits include the use of a company car and an OTE of £77,000.
The successful individual will possess a positive, hands‑on approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a developing sales team. You will be expected to achieve agreed sales targets for new and used cars, within defined operating and financial guidelines.
Role And Responsibilities
* Build trust, communicate effectively and exceed customers’ expectations, ensuring industry‑leading buying experience. Handle customer queries and complaints, and ensure efficient resolution.
* Support the sales team in daily operations including customer contact, sales funnel management, deal building and closing, professional vehicle preparation while maintaining agreed stock levels.
* Drive the sales process and support the team in achieving monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration and add‑on products, ensuring budgetary sales/profit forecasts are met.
* Accurately complete all paperwork and provide reports on all sales activities, ensuring accurate sales forecasts.
* Ensure the sales team accurately and vigorously collects all customer contact and vehicle data to maximise database quality, adhering to the company’s FCA obligations.
About You
* Existing sales manager, sales controller or retail manager looking for a new challenge or better career and reward opportunities.

* Demonstrated profitable and successful track record of delivering outstanding results and exceptional customer satisfaction.
* Strong management and leadership skills, winning mentality, passion for the brand.
* Motor trade, automotive, or car dealership experience preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
