Connex Education is working with a popular Secondary School in Stockton who are recruiting for a DT Teacher to work full- time.
About the school
The school is very popular within Stockton and are currently looking for someone who shares their passion for education to carry out DT lessons for key stages 3 and 4.
The school offers a friendly atmosphere with a motivated team of teachers focused on student progress. They are looking for a DT Teacher who is hard working, resilient and who wants to make a difference to pupils education. The right candidate will be able to confidently step into the department and continue teaching the existing schemes of work.
This role will commence in September and will last for the remainder of the academic year

Person Specification
* must be 21 and over
* Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
* PGCE in DT or related subject from a recognized provider
* You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
* Have experience teaching DT in a UK secondary school setting.
* Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 DT lessons across ability ranges.
* Be passionate about instilling a love of DT
* Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
