Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council Youth Engagement and Participation Service, is seeking to recruit a Youth Engagement & Progression Officer to facilitate the delivery of a high quality Youth Engagement and Participation (YEP) Service. This will include supporting the authority in its work of delivering a high-quality Youth Engagement and Participation Service within a particular locality area.

Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council Youth Engagement and Participation Service, is seeking to recruit a Youth Engagement & Progression Officer to facilitate the delivery of a high quality Youth Engagement and Participation (YEP) Service. This will include supporting the authority in its work of delivering a high-quality Youth Engagement and Participation Service within a particular locality area.

The post holder will be required to support young people in RCT to improve resilience, preventing them from requiring statutory intervention or specialist help in the future. This person will also support communities in identifying and responding to issues of disengagement, working collaboratively with other agencies and services that support young people. Support for young people to have their voices heard is an integral part of the role.
