About the Role

As a Venue Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in bringing smiles to our guests’ faces by ensuring they enjoy delightful meals during their stay. You’ll be part of a vibrant team dedicated to serving breakfast and dinner in our self-service restaurants, making every holiday memorable.
Your enthusiasm for developing people and delivering exceptional guest experiences will shine through as you nurture, train, and coach your team in a fun-filled environment. You’ll set the standard for excellence, embodying our brand values and the Butlin’s way of working.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, you’ll thrive in a bustling atmosphere, driving your team to uphold high levels of hygiene and cleanliness. Your focus on consistent brand standards and guest satisfaction will be key as you analyze KPIs, facilitate team training, and adhere to food safety and health & safety policies.
Leading by example is essential; you’ll inspire your team to create delightful experiences for our guests. Regular one-on-ones and personal development discussions will be part of your routine, ensuring your team feels fulfilled and supported in their careers at Butlin’s.
Every day will bring new challenges, so if you enjoy thinking on your feet and prioritizing guest experience, this role is for you! Typical working hours cover 40 hours per week, across 5 days, with shifts between 7 am - 9 pm, including weekends, bank holidays, and Christmas.
About You
We’re seeking an individual with prior experience in a volume catering or food environment, where speed and quality are paramount. Strong customer-facing experience, including handling queries and complaints, is essential.
Your passion for leading and developing a team will shine through as you support your colleagues with regular one-on-ones and coaching sessions. Delivering an amazing guest experience is your top priority, and you’ll constantly seek opportunities to enhance this.
Experience in managing rotas based on fluctuating guest volumes is a must, along with the ability to work with a multi-skilled team to meet guest demand. You should demonstrate a track record of leading teams to success, managing performance, coaching, delivering training, setting standards, and adapting quickly to changing requirements.
