About the position
Our Customer and Communicationsteamdrives innovation and delivers results thatdelight customers. Leading the strategic management of marketingand communications, community engagement, place engagement, afantastic range of events, the City’s digital transformationand customer experience.
In this position you will play a key role in providing efficientand high-quality customer service to the City’s community,visitors, and internal stakeholders.
Reporting to the Team Leader Customer Experience, your primaryresponsibility will be serving as the City’s first point ofcontact through varying channels of choice inclusive of FrontCounter, Contact Centre and Digital, offering information on theCity’s diverse range of services to an elevatedstandard.
We are offering a mix of permanent contracts and fixed-termcontracts (maximum 12 months) for customer-focused and energeticteam players who thrive on working in a supportive, fast-pacedenvironment.
The available positions are as follows:
Part-time:
Workdays: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday Hours: 8:00am -4:30pm
Workdays: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: Hours: 8:00am -3:30 pm
Workdays: Monday and Tuesday (Monday: 8:00am - 4:25pm,Tuesday: 8:00am - 4:00pm)
Full-time:
Two full-time positions are available
Work schedule: Monday to Friday or a nine-dayfortnight
About you

* A genuine commitment to the provision of customer serviceexcellence and continuous improvement.
* Previous experience in a similar role managing customerenquiries in an efficient responsive manner.
* Deliver exceptional customer service across multipleplatforms: phone, digital and front counter.
* Demonstrated professional telephony manner and strongerprofessional presence in face to face interactions.
* Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to quickly adapt to new systems andprocesses.
* Ability to display tact, diplomacy, discretion, andintegrity in dealing with confidential, sensitive, or urgentmatters.
* Previous experience using a relationship management systemsuch as Salesforce.
* Handle customer enquiries, resolve issues and provideinformation with a positive attitude

* Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
* Experience in customer service or a related field ispreferred.

* A team player who is also comfortable workingindependently.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire toexceed customer expectations.

This position is a Level 5 Inside Workforce Agreementpositionwhich attracts a salary from $77,514.91 gross perannum plus superannuation.

* A copy of Australian driving licence
* National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3months)
* Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance
* The right to work in Australia
