Job Title: Clinical Deputy Manager – Sidcup Care Home
Location: 2 - 8 Hatherley Road, Sidcup, DA14 4BG
Salary: Up to £53,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, with occasional night or weekend visits)
Bonus: Welcome bonus £2,000, paid after four weeks of service
Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
- Create and update individual care plans for residents, maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date medication records.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels through effective rota management.
- Provide day‑to‑day clinical support and guidance to staff, promoting independence, choice and dignity for residents.
- Build and maintain relationships with residents, families and the care home community.
- Develop and nurture partnerships with local organisations to raise the care home’s profile.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
- Commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct and professional development.
- Knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build honest relationships with residents and families.
- Leadership experience – able to mentor, delegate and promote excellent customer service.
- Excellent time‑management and workload prioritisation.
- Compassionate teamwork and a belief in giving one’s best.
