Your Responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer: * Work in full compliance with Health & Safety policies, always maintaining a safety-first approach. * Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance - both preventative and reactive - across production lines and plant equipment. * Deliver maintenance activities in line with all statutory and company Health & Safety standards. * Collaborate closely with Production Shift Managers and production teams to achieve efficiency and performance targets. * Ensure all maintenance work meets strict food safety and hygiene standards. * Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring correct booking and stock levels. * Oversee and coordinate contractors working on-site. * Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across all engineering areas. * Provide support for new installations, upgrades, and engineering projects. * Create, review, and update work instruction documents and risk assessments as required. What You'll Need as a Maintenance Engineer * Time-served Engineer with both Mechanical and Electrical experience. * Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent). * Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. * A commitment to ongoing learning, with access to free upskilling opportunities.
