Purpose of Role
This varied Engineering role will support planned and responsive maintenance on LEV, nitrogen, compressed air, DI water, vacuum, and HVAC systems.
Key Accountabilities
* Undertake planned and reactive maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
* Trouble-shoot to resolve issues on plant and equipment in an efficient and timely manner
* Management of contractors for install and maintenance activities.
* Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are observed and always followed.
* Support call-out system.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications:
* Proven experience in Building Services, Facilities, Engineering, ideally in a manufacturing or technical environment.
* Able to anticipate and identify problems, using available resources to deliver effective, timely solutions.
* Confident making decisions and taking appropriate action with a sense of urgency.
* Competent to work independently on electrical and/or mechanical systems, including fault-finding and equipment installation.
* Strong understanding of relevant Health & Safety procedures, including RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
* A collaborative mindset when working with internal teams or external contractors.
* A minimum level electrical qualification, ideally multiskilled.
