What You’ll Do
6. Plan and deliver engaging 1:1 English, Maths or Science sessions tailored to each child’s strengths and needs.
7. Assess progress, record outcomes and share feedback with parents and multi-agency professionals.
8. Support students’ social and emotional development, addressing behaviour and wellbeing as needed.
9. Supervise safety, build trust and ensure every session is a positive learning experience.
10. Attend occasional virtual meetings and professional check-ins outside lesson hours.
Who You Are
11. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with at least 5 years’ experience teaching and assessing in primary and/or secondary settings.
12. Minimum 5 years’ specialist SEN experience (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, PDA, ADD, dysgraphia, global developmental delay).
13. At least 2 years’ experience supporting children who have experienced trauma.
14. Proven ability to boost pupils’ confidence, self-esteem and engagement.
15. Exceptional patience, creativity and skill in applying differentiated teaching techniques.
16. Excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
17. Valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service, and willingness to obtain public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

How to Apply
24. Confirm you hold QTS, have 5+ years SEN experience and at least 10 hours’ availability, Monday to Friday.
