Role overview

The Junior Sales Engineer role bridges engineering expertise with business strategy. You’ll support the sales team by translating complex technical requirements into tailored solutions for clients, ensuring projects are delivered with both engineering precision and commercial value. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow into a client-facing role while developing a well-rounded mix of technical knowledge, business acumen, and relationship-building skills.


Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and deliver technical quotations that align with customer specifications and business objectives.
* Partner with sales, supply chain, and project management teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
* Develop a strong understanding of engineered flow control products and their applications across industries.
* Contribute to sales strategies by analyzing customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights.
* Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients—ensuring clear communication of requirements, capabilities, and value.
* Support business development by identifying opportunities for cross-selling aftermarket services and solutions.


Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field (or equivalent technical experience).
* 1–4 years of professional experience; open to motivated graduates with strong technical and communication skills.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present solutions to clients.
* A balance of technical curiosity and business-oriented mindset, with an interest in both engineering solutions and commercial growth.
* Self-starter eager to build a career blending engineering, sales, and client engagement.
