An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Attendance Manager to join Brunshaw Community Primary School, working 8am-2.30pm, Monday to Friday. The role provides an excellent career opportunity for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, reliable and ambitious individual. The successful candidate will provide administrative support and contribute to the effective operation of the school's administration team.
Responsibilities
* Update attendance registers and chase reasons for absence
* Monitor and report on whole-school attendance data
* Carry out home visits as required
* Analyse data to identify key areas of concern
* Provide incentives and initiatives to help increase attendance
* Collaborate with pupils, staff, parents and carers to reduce absence levels
Qualifications and Experience
* Good level of education, including GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
* Proficient in a range of IT systems
* Experience working in a busy school environment
* Excellent administrative and organizational skills
* Ability to work well in a team and also show initiative and independence
* Working knowledge of attendance policy and procedures in a busy school office is desirable
Contract and Conditions
* Part-time, term-time only; salary quoted is full-time equivalent
* Salary paid pro-rata if appointed
