We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Litho Press Operator to join our dynamic production team.
The Role
As a Lithographic Press Operator, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of our multi-unit lithographic printing presses. Your expertise will be vital in producing high-quality printed materials that meet exact client specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Machine Operation
: Set up and operate lithographic printing presses, monitoring the process throughout the run and making necessary adjustments.
* Quality Control
: Perform rigorous quality checks, including colour matching, registration, and consistency, to ensure the final product meets client and industry standards.
* Maintenance and Troubleshooting
: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the presses. Troubleshoot any technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production.
* Collaboration
: Work closely with the wider production team to meet tight deadlines and maintain high standards of quality.
* Safety and Housekeeping
: Adhere to all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
* Record Keeping
: Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Lithographic Press Operator.
* Strong technical knowledge of lithographic printing processes, ink systems, and press mechanics.
* A keen eye for detail and strong colour vision.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot press issues effectively.
* Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift manual loads for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
* Familiarity with specific press model (Komori B2 4/5 & 10c).
* Experience in both litho and digital printing is a plus.
