Job Overview

Come and join Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, where we offer a variety of challenging and rewarding roles within a supportive, innovative, and dynamic work environment!

Hours of work: 30 hours per week. Hours are negotiable but with a 5:00pm finish each day, and a full day on Mondays and Fridays. The role is based in our Admin Office.

The Leicestershire Nutrition and Dietetic Service has a vacancy for an efficient Support Team Assistant with excellent administration and communication skills. The successful candidate will work in our fast-paced Admin Support Team, contributing to the daily operations of the appointment booking team and general administrative functions.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. The role involves daily communication with patients and health professionals via telephone. Applicants should speak clearly and have a confident, professional telephone manner.
2. The post holder should be proficient with computers, using clinical systems to check and update patient details, arrange appointments, and generate clinical correspondence.
3. Legible handwriting, filing skills, and the ability to operate office equipment are essential, as the role involves preparing post, information packs, and filing paper-based information.
