North Essex - covering Colchester and Tendring.

Part time 22.5 hours per week, permanent£24,637 FTE



The Role

Futures Together are seeking an experienced practitioner to undertake a recovery coordinator role within North Essex, based in Colchester with regular travel to, and working in, Tendring. You will be part of a wider community team who work withadults within the criminal justice system who have multiple and complex needsacross the County of Essex.

We are looking for individuals with experience of working within thesubstance use sector or health care professionto fulfil a range of tasks from case management to care navigation, advocacy and multi-agency working. You will need to be passionate about recovery and working with clients to support, motivate and manage them to access a wide variety of services. You must have good communication skills and an ability towork as part of a teamas well as being able to use you own initiative when required and to manage your time independently.


Your Rewards

* Salary of £14,782.20 (£24,637 FTE pro-rata) per annum. The opportunity for potential yearly salary increments subject to appraisal, meaning an increaseup to £28,000 (FTE pro-rata)

About You

To join us as a Recovery Coordinator, you will need:

* Relevant experience of workingin the field of problematic substance use, mental healthoranother comparable field
* Evidence of effective partnership working and the ability to network for the benefit of theclient and service
* Evidence of managing a caseload andexcellent organisational skills
* To be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Wordand befamiliar with relevantdatabase management systems
* Excellent communication skills, both written andverbal

Experience of creating person-centred care plansand/ortimetables based on identifiedneedswould be advantageous, as would experience of partnership working, liaising withcommunity and criminal justice services and developingreintegration and resettlement plans.
