We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Regional Marketing Manager (West) to join our Marketing team!

As our Regional Marketing Manager (West), with the support of an experienced team around you, you’ll shape and drive the marketing strategy for some of the sport’s most iconic venues and unforgettable race days, bringing energy, creativity, and commercial insight to a role where no two days are the same.

Please Note - This role will be based at either Chepstow Racecourse or Bath Racecourse with travel across the region.

Responsibilities of a Regional Marketing Manager…

8. Execute the central and local marketing strategy, specifically for the region, that maximise sales across all raceday and non-raceday income lines
9. Review and book media campaigns and proactively seek out new opportunities to raise the profile of the racecourses and fixtures locally
10. Create engaging content via written content, videos and photos to use across various platforms including websites, social media and emails
11. Take ownership for optimising the region's websites in accordance with the SEO Manager’s direction, ensuring KPIs are achieved
12. Liaise with internal designers to brief in marketing campaigns and collateral from conception through to final delivery. Ensuring timeframes are maintained and delivered, materials are accurate and are effectively distributed in line with the campaign strategy.
13. Ongoing content management of racecourse-specific social channels to drive engagement and conversion. Work closely with group social media manager to refine social strategy and optimize social channel engagement.
14. Monitor and respond to customer feedback and look to actively improve brand perception online
15. Support in-campaign and post-campaign analysis, preparing reports and supporting the implementation of optimisation initiatives to improve live activity.
16. Develop strong internal relationships and proactively communicate the regional and central marketing plans and strategy.

The person we are looking for as a Regional Marketing Manager has…..

17. Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience, marketing qualification preferred.
18. 2+ years in a similar role
19. Line management experience required
20. Budget management experience required
21. Knowledge and understanding of the leisure sector or hospitality-based business is preferred, ideally in a B2C focused role
22. Excellent time management/communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
23. Excellent writing and technology skills, with a good understanding of modern marketing techniques and systems.
24. Excellent communication skills and experience managing multiple stakeholders
25. Experience delivering a range of on and offline marketing collateral effective within marketing campaigns.
26. Experience with social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter), CRM platforms and CMS
27. Creative and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
28. Results orientated
