We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our homestore team in Dumfries, DG1 2BD. You will support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store and take full responsibility in their absence.
Responsibilities
* Inspire and support staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey that reflects our values
* Ensure the highest standard of customer service
* Achieve targets
* Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising
* Maximise sales through physical and digital channels
* Support with the recruitment and development of volunteers
* Achieve expectations within campaign activities
* Work with the manager to generate stock
Our stores are fast-paced and trade 7 days a week, which means we require flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. The role can be physically demanding due to the volume of collections, deliveries and donations, but is rewarding as you help fund life-saving research.
