Free staff parking A day in the life of… Early Morning Start Arrive before the breakfast shift begins. Check that the dining room, buffet, and serving stations are clean and set up. Ensure food preparation is on schedule with the kitchen. Brief the breakfast team (servers, hosts, and kitchen assistants) on assignments for the morning. Double-check stock levels (bread, juices, condiments, cutlery, plates, etc.). Breakfast Service (7:00–10:30 AM) Greet and assist guests, making sure they feel welcome. Supervise staff to ensure food is replenished quickly and tables are cleared efficiently. Monitor food quality and presentation, coordinating with chefs if something runs low or needs adjustment. Handle guest requests or complaints promptly (e.g., dietary needs, special orders). Keep an eye on cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards in both kitchen and dining areas. Mid-Morning (After Service) Oversee the clearing and deep cleaning of the dining area. Check inventory and place orders for the next day if items are running low. Write shift handovers or reports for management. Provide feedback or training to team members as needed.
