Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Double Glazing Fitter based in Paignton, with the flexibility to work from home on certain occasions. The role involves the installation and maintenance of double glazing units, including windows, doors, and conservatories. The fitter will also be responsible for ensuring accurate measurements, preparing and assembling units, and providing excellent customer service. The individual will adhere to safety regulations and company standards while maintaining the quality of installations.
Qualifications
Proficiency in installation, adjustment, and maintenance of double glazing units
Ability to accurately measure, cut, and handle materials
Knowledge of safety guidelines and adherence to health and safety standards
Practical experience with tools and equipment used in glazing and fitting
Strong customer service and communication skills
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Willingness to work in a hybrid environment across on-site and remote setups
Valid driver's license and own transport preferred
Relevant experience in glazing or a similar trade
