The Role
We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable Health & Social Care Lecturer to join a supportive and forward-thinking teaching team. In this role, you will help shape learners' futures by delivering high-quality, engaging lessons and providing valuable support throughout their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver Health & Social Care lessons across Levels 1-3
* Support and guide learners in both academic and practical environments
* Monitor and track student progress, offering constructive and timely feedback
* Develop and assess course materials in line with awarding body requirements
* Stay informed about sector developments to enhance teaching practice
* Work collaboratively with colleagues on curriculum planning and quality assurance
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment
Education, Skills & Requirements
* A relevant qualification in Health & Social Care (e.g., Degree, NVQ Level 3+, Nursing or Social Work background)
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent), or willingness to work towards one
* Experience of teaching within a Further Education or a similar educational setting
* Strong understanding of safeguarding practices and current industry standards
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
* Enhanced DBS Certificate
