We're looking for a reliable Accounts Assistant to join our team on a part-time OR full-time basis at our busy office in Sutton Coldfield.
What You'll Do:
* Maintain accurate financial records
* Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable
* Prepare financial reports
* Collaborate with colleagues from other departments as needed
Experience Required:
* Experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Good understanding of basic accounting principles
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Bookkeeping using Microsoft Excel, Xero and QuickBooks Online.
* Preparation of self assessment tax returns.
* Preparation of limited company accounts
* Preparation of Corporation Tax computations and returns.
* Preparation of VAT returns.
Qualifications:
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* AAT qualification or working towards
* Or equivalent book-keeping qualification
Salary based on full-time hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 36.5 per week
