<div><h3><b>AREA SALES MANAGER - NORTHERNCLUSTER</b></h3><p>Is selling in your DNA? Have you got a knack for unearthing leads and turning them into loyal customers? Do you thrive on building and nurturing relationships?</p><p>You’d be at the sales-helm of our Northern region cluster of Locke properties based in Manchester/Liverpool, as we combine stabilising open properties with launching new buildings across the region. Reporting to the Senior Director Sales -UK, you’ll take ownership of key pre-opening planning as well as ongoing sales activity, using your local knowledge and networking prowess to develop profitable, sustainable business.</p><h3><b>THE STAGE IS SET</b></h3><p>The stage is set for something different. Comfort is a given - great beds, hot showers, genuine service. But we aim to create moments that feel memorable and a little unexpected, bringing back the sense of mood hospitality often lost.</p><p>This is our backdrop. We’re on an exciting journey step on stage and play your part.</p><h3><b>THE WORK IN YOUR HANDS</b></h3><ul><li>Developing and executing a local sales plan for each of the properties within the North cluster</li><li>Owning a high-activity sales pipeline, including consistent outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, face-to-face meetings) to meet KPIs</li><li>Driving a structured volume of weekly sales activity, including minimum call, meeting and proposal targets</li></ul><ul><li>Managing key clients, conducting reviews to identify opportunities and executing development plans to maximise revenue</li><li>Actively assisting with B2B sales, managing key local accounts and liaising with the central sales team to engage with key central accounts</li><li>Ensuring databases are kept up to date</li><li>Staying in-the-know with Locke business developments across all locations</li><li>Reporting to key stakeholders on sales activity</li><li>Networking at events, exhibitions and conferences to grow strong relationships</li><li>Hosting fam trips, property showcases, sales presentations and events</li><li>Taking part in training when needed</li></ul><h3><b>THE FIRE YOU CARRY</b></h3><ul><li>Innate customer service skills</li><li>No-nonsense commercial awareness</li><li>Brain built for problem solving</li><li>Drive to hit and exceed stretching sales KPIs</li><li>Comfort working in a high-accountability, target-led sales environment</li><li>Resilience and stamina to maintain consistent outbound activity</li><li>Competitive, self-motivated and disciplined in managing activity levels</li><li>Impeccable planning and organisation</li><li>Next-level communication</li><li>Competence in Word, PowerPoint and Excel for sales presentations and reporting</li></ul><h3><b>YOUR PROVEN TRACK</b></h3><ul><li>4+ years’ experience in hotel, serviced apartment, or relocation housing sales, ideally across multiple markets.</li><li>Experience managing client portfolios with annual revenues of £3m+.</li><li>Demonstrable understanding of Locke’s business and brand</li><li>Proven experience succeeding in a high-KPI sales role with clear expectations around calls, meetings and pipeline</li><li>Local knowledge and contacts in the North region</li><li>Hospitality sales and account management experience in the North</li></ul><h3><b>WHAT WE LOOK FOR</b></h3><p>We’re here to rethink what a modern lifestyle hotel can be.
