We are currently partnering with a number of welcoming primary schools throughout the Llandudno area and are looking for motivated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants to join our supply team from September. This is an excellent opportunity to build experience across different school settings while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils in their day-to-day learning, assist teachers with classroom activities, and help create an engaging and supportive environment where children can flourish. Assignments are available on a day-to-day, short-term, and long-term basis, offering flexibility to suit your individual circumstances.
We’re looking for individuals who are confident communicating in Welsh, enjoy working with children, and can quickly adapt to new environments. Whether you have extensive classroom experience or are looking to further develop your skills within education, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Specification
Working within a Welsh medium school is not only rewarding but essential in keeping the Welsh language prominent within our society.
We are looking for reliable and responsible individuals, who are passionate about working with children to help them strive and make their school experience a fun and safe environment by giving them the tools to reach their full potential.
Your responsibilities will be to support the teacher in delivering lessons and activities in a safe and engaging manner, assisting in the preparation of lessons plans and learning resources and encouraging positive behaviour and supporting the teacher with classroom management.
Ideally, we ask for 3 months minimum experience working with children or have a child-based qualification. We do consider candidates who have transferable skills, this means having experience working in social care, coaching, or nursing.
Teaching, Learning or Classroom Assistants are now vital resources for teachers and are heavily relied upon in schools. We specialise in recruiting Teaching Assistants (TA) who are qualified in the following.
We’ll also consider experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who have previously held a job in a primary school or assisted a pupil in the role in a secondary school but do not hold any of the above qualifications.
